Sometime last year, I started messing around with YGOPro scripting and eventually ended up creating a few archetypes based on the classic and ridiculously lore-heavy Lego Bionicle line. Afterwards, I was occupied otherwise for a while and didn't get back into this whole thing until a few weeks ago. On Youtube, cane_63106 from this very board referred me to the custom cards Facebook group, but unfortunately, I don't have an account on that website and don't really want to make one for just one group. So I dug a bit deeper and came to this place, which seems pretty dead, but whatever. Even a small community can help a lot with an obscure hobby like this.
One point of interest: I went into this whole project without so much as researching the field of custom card scripting beyond the first very basic tutorial. What this means is that, despite the existence of established tools for this purpose, I made my own editor for YGOPro expansions and cards. It's very specialized to my personal workflow and missing a good deal of features the current tools have but I never really needed, so I don't plan on releasing it unless there is an actual need for a new solution (even then, it will take me a while to clean everything up). But there's one particular feature that's pretty useful and seems to be, as far as I can read on the internet, unique to my program: Importing card data from Magic Set Editor 2 directly into a YGOPro expansion database. If any of you guys could use it, I'd be willing to upload that module as a standalone program.
